Say it in Six®
Are you a graduate student interested in networking with Lehigh’s senior leaders and Board of Trustee members? Are you excited by your work and eager to share it with others?
We have an awesome opportunity for you!
The Lehigh University Graduate Life Office is excited to announce its first "Say it in Six"® contest! Inspired by Smith Magazine's "Six-Word Memoirs", GLO challenges you to share your unique graduate school experience, motivations, and passions using just six words and a visual aid! All submissions should be original, succinct, and creative.
A maximum of twenty submissions will be selected and invited to attend a reception and dinner at the Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday, February 27th.
In addition, all selected submissions will be entered into a competition for cash prizes!
Overall winner: $500
Winner of each category: $100
Each student may submit only once (one image, no collages) into one of three categories:
- Why My Research Matters
- This is Why I Am in Graduate School
- Unexpected Discoveries
All works must be original. Stock images and/or clipart will not be accepted. Hyphenated words, for example, “well-known”, will be counted as two words. Similarly, each word in a hashtag, such as #Ilovegradlife, will be counted individually. Failure to follow any of these rules will result in disqualification.
Submission deadline: Thursday, February 13th at 12 P.M. NO EXCEPTIONS.
